Hello everyone, it has been a while since doing a mad blog post. This idea is something I have been predicting for a while but was just reminded of it. And that is that I think insurance policies are going to start making you pay for insurance and the medical care. In a way that already happens with copays, but I think it will get worse and they want the best of their worlds and you just paying more taxes and tolls for staying alive. An example I have is actually from an Apple product warranty I just bought which is that you buy a warranty that covers damage but if you do damage it you pay a fee of 59 or 150 dollars. Well that is still mostly worth it to get a new computer if you break it but they are getting paid twice aren’t they? And so it will be with medical insurance. How much will they get away with? As much as they can until they burn in hell.

Do independent books have as much support as independent bookstores?

I used to work at a Barnes and Noble and I was paid about 7 dollars an hour, eventually creeping up to 11 dollars after twelve years.  I stayed for the insurance, which was okay, but not something I could use much anyway with my schedule.  And as I worked there, I noticed a lot of support for independent bookstores, almost as if working in one was equivalent to overseas mission work in a war zone.  There was respect for that industry, and disgust for chain corporations.  I felt it as a worker, but stayed anyway and read a lot. Many times, that was the theme of the criticism, that booksellers at chains weren't real readers. But we were, depsite no pay whatsoever for any of our education.

Anyway, that reality of underpaid work actually supports the low view of chain corporations but I just want to throw one more thing in the mix which is this: now that I am an author, I am again on the disrespected side because I self published.  Things have gotten better with that, so they say, but I just am wondering about this admiration for independent bookstores as it compares to readership for independent publishers.  I am not sure people are so supportive of writers who don't get rolled through by the "big Five" publishers, speaking of aggressive corporations. Mostly I conclude that I should do as I have always done, which is just make friends and know that things will be better in heaven.

hello everyone, not much thought going into this but a topic for mad blog is how new york city doesn't have clean running water.  Neither apartment I lived in had drinkable water, and at fast food places they sell bottled water without even asking you if you want a cup of ice water instead.  There isn't even a water spout on the drink machine at the chicken strip restaurant I went to.  Why? Because they know the water isn't safe and never will be, kind of like the people.

Well hello everyone, it's me again, slowly adding a mad blog post here and there.  Today's post is from something exactly today, which is blogspot's, I mean google's request to allow cookies when I upload something from my computer.  Probably the idea is so they can scan for some kind of security reason, but in this case, cookies is a vague term.  And what I think I am noticing is a creep towards requiring people to allow total computer access for these tech monsters.  First they will ask to do a security scan on what we upload, then whoops, it has to be all our files, just for safety of course, then it is permission to access those files for any reason, and then whoops, the tech giants have all of our financial information.  And then there's the fact that it probably isn't just about money, it is about more power than that, they want our lives, identities, and souls.  No need to be conspiracy theory about it, because everyone knows that regular life now is more outrageous than anyone's warped theories.  Who speaks out about this? No one that I ever hear of.  All I see is the same self righteous racism obsession that I grew up with for forty years.  There is nothing left to do on that but flog anyone who has a different life; meanwhile, some truly problem people are taking everything anyone has ever worked for.  I have said it before, don't think it wont be you, and don't think it won't be the people you pretend to help.

Procrasti-nation

Well hello everyone, this post is about quotas and racial representation. It is about how America a long time ago could have found means to require that multiple demographics have adequate government representation but instead relied on slow political progress that became more skewed in certain political direction.  Like to gain the seats, an ideological trade-off had to happen.  It could be that some of it worked out in a fitting way. However, I am not sure that indirect progress has been the most honest process, and it certainly was inefficient to the tune of hundreds of years. Cops have quotas that they fill with black bodies, now dead half of the time, but America couldn’t allocate a percentage of government roles for the diverse population it brags about?

I’ve always been from the more conservative part of the country, and I drift along hoping for the best, changing my mind sometimes about a lot of things. But one thing I have to say now is that if people can’t tolerate accepting the candidates who win fair and square, then they are monstrously blind to the supernatural patience of people who have tolerated an obvious, indisputable and deliberate government exclusion for their whole lives. It doesn’t get more hypocritical from a country that emerged from fighting taxation without representation, and it isn’t a coincidence that the leaders are more racist mascots than some sports teams still out there.

Present Tense

Well hello everyone, time for a mad blog post. This one is more political than usual. Usually I go for the every day policies. But this is a reaction to an interview where I saw the new republican VP candidate insult a whole demographic. It was JD Vance telling Tucker Carlson that the childless liberals weren’t truly invested in the future of the country because they had no literal offspring. He went on to call them (us) miserable cat ladies living in one-bedroom apartments in New York City.

This is really sad for me to hear, hurtful in some ways, but mostly disturbing and alarming. One problem with his critique is that it is definitively ignorant to blindly degrade a segment of the population that is different from your own.  It suggests that liberty and justice for all is not the true goal, but instead wealth and power for some, with fame for himself no doubt.

But I also offer a response that is a more powerful argument against his judgemental assumption. Not only might these childless people have invested in their communities and the future instead of family, but it could be that having children might also create a bias of caring about your kids instead of other people’s kids. So how will that play out for the future of a country?  That could be why some of the bad conservatives are so opposed to providing things like school lunches and emergency hygiene products for middle schoolers.  It is hard to believe, and yet I do recall being treated like garbage as a retail worker when parents were looking for something for their kids.  All they cared about was getting their kid what they wanted, and they would torture and kill over it. Okay, that’s a bit much, maybe, but I am just saying that people can spin stuff in the other direction too, if we all didn’t already know better anyway.

Borrowing Righteousness

Well everyone, this is a deeper topic than the way I will probably get into it, but the issue is basically political people’s intent to dip into resources from people who do what they are supposed to, and their plans to spend that value on bums who do exactly the opposite.

The example I am using is a “harm reduction” device that was just installed in my apartment, which is essentially a timer that you can set if you are doing drugs, so if you overdose and they don’t receive a signal from the cancel button, someone will come find you and take you to the hospital where insurance money or tax dollars are then spent on your illegal habit.

That is one side of it, but there is also a censor on the device that alerts their system if you are standing in front of the device, doing anything, such as making coffee. Now people can say what they want about assuming innocence, but I know from my apartment’s other behavior to make some of us look bad in other clients’ eyes, that the purpose is to blur any behavior with drug use so “we don’t really know who is doing drugs and who isn’t.”

There are other peer networks that label some workers as “justice involved peers,” so as to equate those on one side of the law with those who break the law and use up social resources in jail.

Philosophically, this is the core and crime of communism, with the satanic deception behind it to let the guilty go free and the innocent be accused.

I can’t convey my disgust enough, though the workers who installed that system yesterday accepted a joke book from me and were dear and precious people.

So I will continue to have faith amid evil systems, which have overwhelmed me since college.  I think for some reason it is a calling for me and a task given from God, possibly so I could, over time, see the truth about Jesus’s atonement and how that is where righteousness is found, outside of our own efforts even in “cleaner,” more faithful societies.

However, it does not change right and wrong, and I know that huge portions of our people and world will not tolerate these lies and injustice, and many good people would die and kill over violations that were accepted by me and more thoroughly, for me. Why, because I am a good person and people couldn’t tolerate it. It burned them because of their own flammable choices.

How many degrees is the hell you're going to

Well hello everyone, this is Refried, making weak attempts to restart these better blogs and recover from the abuse that wrenched the writing across most of my genres.

Today's topic is the sudden closing of colleges.  The defense argument is that they simply couldn't sustain the school and had to act suddenly.  But unfortunately, what that is, is simply a broken contract.  They have offered a four year degree program and then "can't" deliver on it.

One solution that could help everyone and would have already happened if old people cared about young people, is that degrees should be broken up into two year segments anyway.  There were enough millions of people who did not graduate for people to see years ago that granting an associate's degree early on would help everyone's lives at least some.

As for colleges not keeping their end of a bargain, it is a sign of moral weakness in no longer high places but the crooked crags of idolatrous success worship. And the people who acquired more of it, which are... grownups, hoarded what they got and had to fail and bail for the young people.

It's tough times, must be easy for me to say, maybe it is and maybe it's not.  But the feeling of injustice from those who suddenly lost their community and goal track and investment, could not be more accurate.  Now there will be legal cases and we will see how people dodge responsibility.

The lesson is to not promise what you can't and won't deliver on.  That's a lesson people supposedly already knew.  Going to college isn't supposed to be as irresponsible as a horse race or a boxing match.

maybe restarting mad blog soon

Well hello everyone, today I got an email from Old Navy saying that by continuing to use their website and products, I am agreeing to their updated terms and conditions for their membership program.  That is weird, I think that using a website is using a website.  I unsubscribed.  This also reminds me that I think I might try to recover this blog and write happy posts like my old posts.  And then maybe republish my mad blog book with three years missing.  And start doing the mad blog posts again where they are just light policy analysis instead of expressions of deep devastation and outrage at a ruined life.

I have a video playing on facebook again.  My numbers dipped a little bit because of the captions that I used this time.  I guess that is why facebook made that the default setting.  People have been very patient with facebook’s powerplays for many years but I think soon they will be regulated and will have to tell the truth and not show the same political favoritism.

Well that is all, maybe I will put this post on my old mad blog.

More of the Same

Right now I am watching a youtube cooking video.  I like these videos because it is regular people.  I like the food network stars too, but I think the phenomenon that happened with facebook and social media began mostly from an unusual foundation of regular people sharing regular life.  And everyone loved it so it changed the world.  But I guess as people monetized things, which isn’t necessarily bad and probably did help businesses whose ads were being ignored, facebook changed. I can’t reach my friends, and this element I am enjoying right now as this random person from Louisiana shows me how to cook candied pecans, is not there as much anymore. I follow a lot of animals online, and definitely things have gotten better since the politics that badgered me during the pandemic.  But I think we have witnessed an aggressive harvesting of our social lives, and a loss of something special that had been gained. Is that how it works?  Were the Hollywood stars of old from a similar harvest?  Hmm, I don’t know. But I think facebook solved what had been a different suctioning of ourselves and our souls by corporations and shark businesses.  And we were stressed and crunched, and then God helped us with a national miracle.  And what do you know, those power hungry money takers found their way in and bought back our whole social lives. Some might say we sold out by logging in, but I would say that is your problem if you think that. It wasn’t so voluntary, it was a cheap dirty swindle.  We will find our friends again, maybe at church, or schools, or work as people try to survive our gutted economy.  And all the people taken advantage of will press on and be the humble heroes just as usual, the people who wake up and do what they are supposed to, tell the truth, care about others, make mistakes, and live a good life while greedy predators with their souls open to a vacuuming abyss attach their leechy snouts to any station of innocence left welcoming the rare repenters who hear the meek mild call of soup recipes and family photos.

Citizens Unrest

Well hi everyone, I think I will put this on my regular blog instead of my mad blog, even though it is a policy and issue topic.  It has to do with reparitions, which is something I believe in and think that people should think more about.

To me, the fact that at least something should be done to repay the ongoing detriment of the specific historical abuse of slavery is a no brainer and almost not up for debate.  But what is actually possible, who should make it work out, and how it should happen are things that many more creative minds should invest their time and resources in.

A thoughtless reaction to mob demands will only cause further damage, and honestly I do think people can expect a war if they turn it into an excuse for a veiled armed robbery.

I want to compare that risk to something I saw on other racist TV, which is the Dukes of Hazzard.  They used to have this thing called “Citizen’s Arrest,” where a normal person could arrest someone as a fellow citizen and take someone to jail.  It was ridiculous and made for some entertaining TV.  I think the same level absurdity could be too appealing and excused for the reparitions process too.

If people get some clue from their education or social media that causes them to see not just an immediate need but the reality of a societal debt, then surely it is tempting to just find the nearest white oppressor and demand that they cough up “their share” of reparitions.  Already, I think there are media narratives that cause people to expect anyone with a paycheck to suddenly make up for four hundred years of poverty and degradation in the lives of millions.

And maybe it is hyper-vigilant of me to predict this at all, but I have to say ahead of time, or at the fringe of what is already underway, that I feel sorry for people who see that option as their only route to prosperity.  Truly, if you do, you are one of the reasons that it has been so complicated  already with decades of crime and welfare mixed in from co-enslavers.  And that mess will never be over as long as people keep being coached to milk their cred instead of getting a job. Those who know better and especially do better will probably see immediately that there actually many of us who see the real case and believe you should go for both the cash and credit.

Sure, insurance

Hi everyone, I have considered this mad blog complete but maybe I will still post sometimes.  The thing for today is questioning post office insurance for packages.  I kind of get it and agree, I mean if you are sending 300 dollars in the mail then why not an insurance system to protect it.  Except that I think the postal service is intrinsically for things like mailing packages, so why don't they shoulder the responsibility for lost items?  Instead, now, if you don't buy insurance, it is like you are agreeing to a gamble where they don't have any obligation to successfully do what you pay for which is for them to safely get your valuable thing from point A to point B.  I say this because I am missing a package that I mailed to myself and one of the other two packages was slit open as if to say, don't expect the one that is missing.  It was an ordeal at the post office and I might have been considered a problem customer because I was in a hurry and kept having to redo the address labels.  So I could expect revenge, except the person helping me was a good and patient person who I think would be less likely to hide the mail on purpose than the people up north who continually harrass me with overt racism and political hatred everywhere I go.  Really, the package will probably get here tomorrow, things do get lost, but these are nasty social warfare times where people are getting in their jabs to disrupt quality life just as the northern schools taught them to.  And where is the protection, where are the contractual agreements, where is the accountability?  It is for sale temporarily so insurance sharks can cash in on our suffering, and so regular businesses have no responsiblity whatsoever.

The creeping threat of smog pollution

I thought of some funny facebook jokes about the air quality experience which is saying

I held my breath for two days

a whole generation is going to grow up with smokers voice

What I didn’t see was advice for smokers during an air quality emergency

Well these three jokes would have been fun to share on facebook if it was still a platform for me and legitimate socializing resource.  But sadly after suctioning everyone’s social participation for several happy years, facebook chose a less happy direction and ran through their own agendas while people pretended to stick up for justice.  And to some users it still seems like an innovative free service even though most people have to pay to share anything and can’t at all if it is their authentic friend connections. People can say otherwise but even weak journalists are starting to write insightful little articles about how people are lonely now.  Gee I wonder why.  Could it be the ads for desperate small business coaches that replaced our friend’s clever witticisms?  But no one dares speak up or out about facebook’s crooked theft of the heart of our lives after years of patient support for anything they did. For me, my one thousand friends were gained through facing society with severe social anxiety.  And I don’t take it lightly for rich northerners to help themselves to my life and contacts while overtly insulting and harassing me every single day. I guess people will return to churches and facebook will be a fun fad that happed and now a worldly media resource as nasty and power hungry as the Ted Turner empires of the 90s which started all these problems anyway.

A Day Off or an Off Day

Well everyone, President’s Day is tomorrow, and I am just thinking about the creep of the four day work week, as some people have suggested. I am not necessarily totally opposed to the idea and see almost any rest that happens in our country as much needed and the inevitable collapse from a society that for twenty or thirty years gouged most honest people with increased stress levels that gave half the population nervous breakdowns.  But I would like to say that as people write little articles about how nice it would be to live a French siesta life, most likely it will only mean extra holidays for people collecting the cash from the automated systems that enslave everyone else.  That’s already part of many people’s lives, but for some reason is not a pet problem of the activists who racebook chose to roll through as they use american ad money to fund the spread of worldwide viral nudity videos featuring abused teen princesses from other countries.  But anyway, I got distracted there, what I am saying is we all know that a four-day work week will just mean the banks and post offices will be closed at inconvenient times while young people work three to five low paying jobs and can’t have a real family. Go ahead, make up some lie that isn’t even relevant. Say it’s about race or climate change. Some other white sin, or supremacy from white people not sinning, okay wait a minute.. what is it you really want? A four day work week. For other people. While you do nothing.

Can laws fix it anyway, I don't know

Well everyone, time for a quick mad blog topic, which is about amazon delaying payments.  Lilke you pay but the money doesn’t leave your account.  I don’t know their intent, but I think what it does is create a false debt for every customer, or even a real debt, as if you bought their items on credit.  When really you are just trying to buy like normal.  It is a tool of slavery, and while I think that is a goal of a lot of the tech companies, it has actually already affected our country for many years through credit card debt and other debts.  I myself am in a boat now where I would consider buying myself some more time through debt.  Anyway, that is all. No need for a rant on a blog that hasn’t been as ruined as some of my other blogs.  Have a nice day. Probably things like this will be fixed once our country splits up.  Who gets amazon?  Maybe there will be normal stores again in one of the countries.

Can you find what's wrong with this receipt?

Ok, look closely, do you see what it is?  The gift card I "bought" was "not approved," but the charge still says $100.36.  So I paid for an 80 dollar gift card but there is no money on it.  I am waiting a couple of days to see what happens with my account, but I did try to use the gift card later the same day and it sure enough did not work.  But my overdraft protection on my credit line worked and listed the exact charge.  I was buying a gift card with my credit line so I would not get individual overdraft charges for groceries.

This is simply, a crime, and an outrage that their cashiering system can even let something like that go through.  This is actually the second incident like this with this company, and I do think I might get a lawyer this time.  It is too important for people to be able to fairly buy groceries through an honest system.  So I actually would take the trouble to fight this.  Today I called the cops about it because the 80 dollars is gone yet I have no value on the gift card and the store did not correct the problem.

Would anyone like to call me a Karen about this? To say I should not be mad and they have to protect themselves from scammers?  They are the scammers in this scenario, and if people allow these kinds of transactions to happen then they can expect to be fighting like animals over blocked hills of rice and porridge for the next hundred years until honest people walk the planet again.

Better Christian Nationalism than Anti-Christian Nationalism

Most Christians do know better than to just choose a so-called theocracy, or worse, a hypocrite-ocracy. It is actually a small percentage that think they should force everyone to act like they have the same religion.  However, a lot of people are reacting to what is absolutely a similar foisting of ideological lifestyle aggression onto people who should be free and happy.  I don’t see how anyone can really not see how the democrats have their own morality and self-righteousness warping into a control freak power grab. I don’t know how things will go towards resolving it. I kind of do think it is too late for peaceful renewal of the organically free and loyal society.  But maybe good things will still happen from all the millions of people who know better than how they are represented in the media and government chambers and chamber pots and pot head dens and cells.

What is behind people’s weakness

So I have been doing better blogging with fewer complaint mistakes, but here is a weaker post to just wonder something out loud in case it is a problem.  I noticed that gas prices were low during Trump’s presidency, high during Obama’s presidency, and horribly outrageous during Biden’s presidency.  And I am just wondering if the oil companies are “rigging” that on purpose for political reasons, in a similar way as facebook ruins people’s social lives for political reasons.  Like if it is kind of an industry display of power to get their way.  I do not know.  I truly don’t.  I know there are a lot of factors about energy production that I don’t understand.  But I think profit gouging is something that happens very often without much intervention, and this pattern makes me suspect some things could be on purpose.  I am disgusted with Biden but this type of fighting in both cases, from power hungry oil people and from greasy social media people, is a shameful embarrassment that probably shouldn’t be legally possible.

Compromising on ethics but not on anything else…

Ask yourself, why is it religious liberty and social justice, instead of liberty and justice?  And could the phrase “for all” believably be added to either concept? It is interesting to ponder, and to think that real solutions might satisfy both interests. My hunch is that at this point, we should just go with both things and try to provide work and laws that serve both those causes. This also suggests a philosophical component where too many people have fallen for the idea that our only option is to negotiate with different groups who all have supposedly legitimate but conflicting interests. Maybe that is not how it works.  It could be that until there is true faith that decisions can fairly benefit all people, then no real peace and progress will take place in our country or anywhere else. Can’t everyone now say “I told you so” about at least some things, so people can agree to move on with what surely must be an obvious path forward.

Where is the leadership?

Republicans who bully people like Maxine Waters. I feel sorry for you.  Democrats who aren’t satisfied with people like Susan Collins and Murkowski.  I feel sorry for you.  Black people who don’t stand up for your white friends who aren’t really that racist. Actually, I do kind of get it. Everyone does, and that is why the democra-tards are able to roll through such absurdities of strife and murder before everyone’s eyes. But I still wonder when people will sufficiently question why they have to vote for abortion extremism and legalizing armed robbery to have any minority representation at all? Perhaps the conservatives are the ones with the higher view of those who they seem to vote against, and actually do, unfortunately.
